I'll put a defence of McNeil, as he was running on empty. As he is in a few games. He often needs taking off.for his own sake.

I'll be honest, I also think McNeil has far more quality on the ball than Harrison.

Has he ever ran on full? He just plods around with half arsed attempts to get at the defender trying to kid everyone he's trying really hard because he puts his head down but doesn't actually get any faster. Watch him when he 'puts the hard yards in' he just puts his head down

McNeil (knee) was forced off in the second half of last week's contest at Goodison Park, but is in line to be fit enough to feature at St Mary's after successfully coming through individual training on Thursday afternoon
