I know Cornet half had the beating of him, but I enjoyed the novelty of actually having a left back overlap for a change.

….he was awful defensively, they walked through him in the 2nd half.
Goal and an assist last Saturday, and could have been 3 assists if DCL could finish one on one. Know he's not world class but think he'd be getting more praise if others around him weren't letting the side down.
He was about ten yards inside the by line, Cornet had the freedom of Goodison.
Amazing what picture stats can paint…. Wonder how many of the ‘big chances’ are simply putting the ball into a certain place in the box from a free kick……
I’ve thought he’s looked rubbish and done nothing this season - albeit most likely heavily influenced by the general team performances.

I have to disagree with all of that bar the Lindstrom part.
Comical watching him back out on the wing, not being able to turn, looking like a sloth because a ball was passed two yards in front of him and he was too slow to react.
