Yes he scored and hes someone i was very happy about us signing.

However the rest of the match aside from the goal he was dreadful...the number of passes to the opposition was obscene.



Whenever we saw him on the left he would coninuously pass the ball centrally to their players...ran down blind alleys...just all round below par for him
I wouldn't say dreadful but not on the form of the second half of last season. When he drifted inside to a central position he offered so much more and looked on the ball

Players like McNeil will fill any role you ask them to. They will sacrifice their own production so that the team can function better. A lot his stuff won’t show up in the stats, but the guy is a team player and you can’t take that away from. Defends well, has had some good set pieces as the season went on and willing to hang on the touch line and play both sides of the pitch.

I think Dyche mentioned he wants two more wingers in (which makes sense as modern wingers can play all over the pitch). Could see him move central.
