Papa Shango
Player Valuation: £70m
It's a bargain if we get him for the alleged price. We never fail to waste money do we. Jesus wept. Best of luck to him though
We will be calling him Dwight McSteal in a few months time.
Well i will be anyway...

Yes seriously annoys me know what he’s going to do before he even does it cut inside try and get a shot off which is good but not every time other players can be brought into play or just recycle the ball, looked a good signing at the start but as the season went on can see why he went for the fee he did, saying that still a decent choice off the benchThis is single handedly the biggest fault with Gray.
Great being used for outlet for his pace in a counter attack, awful at progressive play to get the ball in the box and find the overlap. The amount of times he ignored people in better positions to cut inside and have a Hollywood shot was ludicrous.
Cornet was 17.5 million, but no hire purchase deal allowed ..... should have thrown Michael Keane in the deal got them both imo ....

So you really like him?Just what we need a slow, none scoring, 'winger'.
7 goals from 133 appearances does concern me like. I know Burnley are a low scoring team (last two seasons 34 and 33 goals scored), and they're whole team will need to be behind the ball for most games, but an attacking player should get a little more than that.
I think I'm more concerned about pace. Because if Everton go for people like Gilmour or Winks before the window closes we could be struggling for it.
I'm just about in favour of him, mostly due to his age, wealth of experience and willingness to track back.
It makes sense, but it's Everton ......plus hes a prolific goal scorerDo you think they would take a Keane part ex?? they are a CB down I guess.
Oh god, you've got my hopes up.
Because Burnley just want people to whip crosses inMaybe in his world war 2 re-enactment role play every other Sunday with the Burnley Brexit association but he’s played his overwhelming amount of 134 premier league games for Burnley on the left of midfield
Wowzers ?
I think Gordon is a shoe in.
I was going to say about Gray being very selfish 2nd half of the season and it looking so predictable down the left when he played.
So many times Mykolenko was unmarked able to put a cross over and Gray elected to cut inside and either shoot wide or dribble into defenders.
I wondered how many goals/assists he got 2nd half of the season, it was 2 assists:
In a similar vein to Cornet and Dennis who flopped 2nd half of the season Gray may have been 'found out' or just reverted to type.
McNeil is going to surprise people. He does have weaknesses which are:
Very left footed -- so wont reach the very top as hss so one footed.
Shoots too far out -- Perhaps due to his role at Burnley? With us he may be closer to the opposition net though.
Lack of pace -- good dribbling and acceleration but not quick after the first 5-10 yards
The kid is 22 though and if he can get to 12-15 league goals/assists combined (Gordon too) then I think we'll all be very happy.
I think hes got a better chance of doing that than Gray.
Any stats on speed for McNeil? He isn't slow, one of those like Barkley when he broke through in that he's almost faster on the ball than he is off it. Agreed though, some legs in the middle of the park other than Doucoure are needed.
Change the record.
This all should be in the Scottish football thread. No one wants to read abourt sectarianism in an ongoing transfer thread.Whilst you are correct - the daily record is a scottish publication, it's generally seen as anti-rangers , so surely you'd want to maintain the record? lol
