Slightly off topic - the wife bought me a couple of vide-o's from the OS store for my bitrthday - nice of her i suppose. Except they wont play on this side of the atlantic because they are PAL format. In her defence they were priced in dollars...I could ship them back i guess - anyone have a solution that does not involve animals in coitus?

You can sometimes unlock your DVD player to be region free mate, have a google around for "unlock codes for <insert model here> or as dude says, rip and convert on the poota.
