clearly the cold war would never have got to the hitting the button stage, as the russians would've kicked some arsh in the bronx and it would've all been over.
imo grandmaster melle mel and the furious five, the rocksteady crew etc were all some elite force that was put together to take on the cossacks, that human beat-box bloke was probably to confuse anyone listening in on conversations etc, whilst the graffiti on the trains was military propaganda.
they clearly saw cuba as a threat because the russians were there learning a bit of tango and rumba for a counter attack should the bronx guys do the robot.

After the Armenian earthquake of 1988, their national dance company toured the Uk to raise funds and I went to see them at Nottingham Royal Concert Hall - they danced like the vids that Riedy has put up - amazing. They must be supremely fit to move like that - it was an inspirational evening.

I've seen the first vid that RBG put up before with Russian music. I think it's from about 1950 or something.

Hope Billy can lead the opposing defences a merry dance this season....
