Duncan Ferguson - The Coach

If the fella he's in bed with, because thats what he is as coach, gets sacked, then the whole backroom staff has failed at their job.

That's why he should go as well.
That’s not necessarily true. He can do well and be a good coach without influencing the job Martínez/Allardyce/Silva do. He’s a knowledge and highly rated coach, he can’t help the choices the board make in hiring who he works under

Bollocks lad....how can he change the mentality of this club? Has to come from the top, ie our excuse for a board....so he nutted a few players in his career...just WOW!
It’s not up to him to change he mentality of the club, for now it’s up to him to get these players playing with some sort of direction and fight for the club. Those at the top above him can bring a culture change in, that’s what brands and the board is for, let the manager concentrate on working with the players.

Has took a lot of stick the last few years with people including myself 'rightfully' wondering what the hell he actually does considering all the bosses he has worked under have been sacked and we have gone backwards. Now that he has been given temp charge of the Chelsea game we will be able to get a better idea of his coaching skills. Has he been held back by his bosses? does he have his own ideas and can he get a song and dance out of the squad now that he is in sole command as the temp boss.

I honestly hope that it works out for him and that we are effing boss on Saturday.

Onwards and upwards blues.

No, it is true, because it's meant to be a functioning unit.

He hasn't brought any of our strikers along and yet while his man in charge has fallen by the wayside, he's fallen upwards. It's ridiclous.

Well, we’ll see what his managerial skills are made of.

Hopefully he’ll do better than Unsworth did in the role.
Tough game for him to be thrown into with the team rock bottom on confidence and in the relegation zone. Would've lost under Silva anyways. Right call from the club to take Silva out of the firing line at Goodison, I think it wouldve got nasty and a new manager is obviously already nearly finalised by sounds of it.
