Could be interesting, especially the chapter on the transfer to the barcodes

Well, the story goes that Smith told him he was to be sold in the days before he was sold to Newcastle...which drives a coach and horses througfh the dour one's tale at the time that he was sold by Johnson behind his back.

When Rangers left him high and dry and at the mercy of the SFA will be another good read. Again, I can see Smith getting a few barbed comments thrown his way over that affair.

Does anyone know whats happening with this book. It's unavailable through my local bookstore, and it looks like the online retailers don't have it either.

The Big Man once told me the story of getting sold . He did say , Wally mentioned it on the morning of the game , the Monday .
He did also say , that he didn't expect anything to happen , but by 7 O' Clock he was a Newcastle player.
Another one - Bally being the first - Sold against his wishes .

One of my worst days as a blue . Went into work the next day and the kopites had posted me desk with pics of him and Freddie Shepherd .
They're always good for a funny .
