Sorry but I agree with Tubey. I'd fancy our chances against anyone EXCEPT Liverpool home or away. Wish it were different, and am waiting for the day when it is again REGULARLY. But for now, beating us at Goodison to crown the second coming of Klopp would be more than I could bear. Can bear losing to any other team.

Anyone but Liverpool is the default answer, but if we have to face them, let it be now. Far enough from the final for it to be immaterial, still time for them to be knocked out in later rounds.

Out of interest, have we ever played Liverpool in a two-legged cup-tie? We've hardly the best record against them in cup competitions, but I would imagine a 2-legged match would have a different dynamic.
