Play him in the 6 instead of Allan and have Doucz and Alli either side of him.

Needs Alli ahead of him in between the lines to give him an option.

More legs than Allan as well

Reckon we had more of a chance if Donnie played
will he be fit for Wednesday?
Yep, his replacement who isn’t a midfielder to be fair to him, gave away the fk that changed the game whilst we were on top and provided little to no attacking help (aside from massively deflected strike).

Not blaming Holgate as it was tough throwing him out of position in last minute but yeah a proper midfield three, DVB, Doucoure and Iwobi would’ve been so much better.

Actually thought Iwobi was worse than Holgate but yeah both are clueless in the middle

If DVB Delph Alan actually got of run of games together things might start to click but no holding out hope.

I thought Iwobi was great until his mistake for the equaliser, played a few killer through balls today, something we’ve sorely missed since James and even Sigurdsson. After he messed up and they went 2-1 up he lost his head and was poor.

Agree, getting DVB and Allan together will be vital - not sure we’ll ever see Delph again though.

There's a smell of death about this lad's career.

I was a fan when he was at Ajax. I thought a move from the dysfunction of United would help him...until he chose a move to the dysfunction of Everton. If bad career decisions can destroy a career, this lad might soon have to look for a new one.

That intensified the moment he signed for us.
