2024/25 Dominic Calvert-Lewin

Very strange that there is no clarity on this yet.
If the decision was that he was definitely leaving I think you would expect that to become public by now.
What is there to say?

We’ve offered him a deal on reduced terms which he hasn’t accepted.

He hasn’t signed for any other club, so as of right now he’s still an Everton player.

Moyes just will not say tara. Why the hell does he want to keep him ?
This is an interesting question, tbf.

Moyes v1 had a right old time of it with strikers, with only The Yak really hitting decent numbers for us. Didn't have a great time at West Ham either. It could very well be that he backs himself to manage Dom properly and avoid himself the hassle of having to dip into the market for a replacement.

Whatever some think on here he deserves some respect instead of the same posters just slagging him off.

Is he getting slagged off or am i reading a lot of Everton fans a bit tired of the calvert lewin show.
He isnt that good. He wants money that forwards who do the busines get(personal opinion. I think he's taking the piss) and we've a striker(beto) who's scoring more goals and tbh showing more hunger and honest willingness.
As much respect there is for the off field stuff we've got to seperate the two for the playing side and im sorry but we cant keep kissing his arse on that.
Its actually quite bizare that so much is said about a forward who scores about 5 goals a season. I think some of the issues he has is he thinks he's still an international player. The quicker he gets his head down and realises he had a brief spell for England 5 years ago the better.

He will leave at the end of June .....

Yes, let's look at all the premier league goals he's managed to get out of the world class strikers he had at Burnley....

The man had Chris Wood scoring double figures four years in a row

Had Ashley Barnes scoring 9 and 12 premier goals a season.

Had Danny Ings scoring 11 in his first season in the premier league.

Even had Sam Vokes hit 10 for Burnley one season.

These are obviously all better strikers than DCL though right? Obviously they shouldn't have been sniffing close to double figures if Dom couldn't manage it under Dyche.

Oh wait.
What's happening here? Why are we talking about Dyche? People do understand that Dyche and DCL can both not be good enough, right?

It's definitely a bit of a blind spot for Moyes, he likes his strikers running channels and tracking back. He bought Andy Johnson and basically turned him into a winger. I think it's why he likes DCL too.

@JobForTheMoyes will be a long shortly to say I'm chatting wham and to educate me on how Moyes transformed Arnautovic and Antonio into R9 and R7.
