I`d say there might be a few teams interested in take a punt on him but are not offering anything near the money he was on with us. He`s just using the contract talks with us to see if he can find a better deal elsewhere which is why we should wave him goodbye ASAP.
Dont understand how Joyce/Times report contract talks stalled in the headline, and then in the byline reports new owners pulled the contract.

it wouldn't surprise me. The lad has been terribly advised. I'm sure he'll have interest but no one is paying him what we were offering. And given that most top teams now recruit based on stats - his are awful. His goals return, Xg, his fitness - everything suggests you don't waste money on him. Someone may take a punt but it's not going to be for the money he wanted.

Seems to only apply to some players though. If Doucoure or Mykolenko came out and said they’d been having a tough time (which the latter certainly has and who knows what any of the other players are going through) it wouldn’t stop anyone on here calling them rubbish. Yet when it’s DCL Keane or Tom Davies before them, there’s every excuse under the sun from certain people.
Just on basic facts Keane and Davies weren’t good enough to play PL football at the required level and Calvert Lewin whilst being slightly better than those two is not available often enough because of the fitness issues. They all got extremely well paid and long careers at Everton, much longer than any other PL club would have given them. That time is now at an end, that should be the end of it.

People don't "hate" him. Maybe those idiots sending racism around did, but nobody here does.
It's not "hating" him to say he's been crap for four years, constantly battling injuries and isn't someone we should rely on to score us goals and win us matches.
That's just an overreaction to defend a player you like and it's incredibly tiresome to see it constantly from the same folk, or to be told you don't like him because he wore culottes, or to be accused of being heartless because you're criticizing a footballer's ability who has had some mental health struggles. It's become a standard rotation from his cult that backs him on here.
I just want a good striker scoring goals for Everton with consistency, which is what we all should want.

Dont think is hate has been more frustration alot caused by the club becuase of no real backup. Then well always a problem when people hear a player wants alot more money when has not performed on the pitch to that level.
