2023/24 Dominic Calvert-Lewin

It was a sound goal but it wasn't the goal of the season.

Harrison v Bournemouth, or Gomes' free-kick were both better.

It wasn’t even DCL’s best goal this season, and he only scored 5 from open play. The West Ham goal was better. People are letting their emotions override common sense once again, but I’m not at all surprised.

Fair enough, I guess it’s the world we live in nowadays, you detach from reality and just make up your own world that exists in your head.
I think for me personally goal of the season is everything rolled into one. Of course you can say 'it's just a goal from a corner' but it's a goal to finish off a game we've been waiting 14 years for, it's a goal that realistically made us safe and a goal that stopped them winning the league in Klopps final season.

It's pretty massive when you think about it and that is enough for me to get my vote. If I was boring though I'd probably pick McNeils against Forest away.
