Do think he's a good player and ye he's had alot of injuries, my problem is when he's played recently bloody ell he never looked like putting a shift in I know fitness is everything but I've watch him recently and everything was at jogging mode ,only can have a opinion on what you see .you can sprint sometimes surely ffs

How grim is this

Everton provided Calvert-Lewin with 31 big chances (as defined by Opta as an opportunity from which a player would reasonably be expected to score) last season - he scored from 14 of them.

This season, however, Calvert-Lewin has only been provided with only three big chances from open play, one of which he converted, in an opening-day win over Southampton, as Everton have struggled for creativity.

Indeed, only Norwich City (27) have crafted fewer big chances than Everton (28) this season.

We created more good goal-scoring chances for ONE PLAYER last season than we have done at all over the entire squad this season.

That is absolutely horrific.

We all know Dom hasn't been good enough, but when your creativity is so bad then I'm sorry but the problem lies elsewhere really.

But our players can't get the ball to him anyway so what's he sprinting to?

Find space that Gordon and Gray can't hit?

DCL looked sharp and worked hard the other night. Strikers thrive when they’re confident and being injured for the majority of the season’s matches is not conducive to having high levels of confidence.

And people still keep chatting bubbles that our defence is the problem.

Tbf it is an issue like, if you can't create and can't defend - which has been the case for most of this season - you're in deep s*** (as we are).

Lampard has rectified the defensive side to an extent but it's meant going ultra cautious with the shape and end of the day we're still relying on dumb and dumber in Gordon and Gray.

Iwobi, bless him, does create chances but hardly any of them are quality ones. In fact only three have been all season - here's the full list of big chances broken down per player. It's properly bad.

Richarlison5
Gray, Demarai5
Gordon, Anthony4
Iwobi, Alexander3
Doucouré, Abdoulaye3
Townsend, Andros2
Keane, Michael2
Digne, Lucas2
Alli, Dele1
Calvert-Lewin, Dominic1

Big fat Raf binned off our only creative midfielder for free after the transfer window closed, then binned off our chance creating fullback in January to finish us off! We can't blame him for the loss of our Icelandic enigma but the loss of all three, particularly with the replacements being Andros Townsend, Demarai Gray and Salomon Rondon, meant we were always up against it. If we stay up we need to sign a creative midfielder, god knows who though.

The lad worked hard in his cameo against Watford, but our front players get very little service.

Our squad is desperately unbalanced, to say the last.

Once he gets a goal and gets his confidence back he’ll be back to that 21-goal-a-season striker that he was for us last season.

? you know he had a transfer ban at Chelsea right? And then the season he didn't, he was overruled on transfers and they signed a load of players against his wishes. He was wanting declan rice. The only player they signed which was supposedly his signing was Chilwell.
you do know chelsea spent 220m in a transfer window at while lampard was manager?
I’m not knocking him, I’m all for keeping him whatever the situation at the end of the season… but he has yet to prove himself yet as an astute manager of transfer dealings.
