You can’t constantly blame the players around him for lack of assists. This is a massive part of his game that he needs to work on alongside his finishing.

yes his goal return was good but they came in 13 matches, he didn’t score in 25 other games and in those he didn’t make any assists either.

the argument of 16 goals is the only thing you go back to but ignore the context around it, some of those goals he scored 2-3 in 1 match.

Context is very much a two way street if you're arguing he's not doing enough in this team. Can't base any argument solely on stats. Especially assists.

If a player taps a two yard pass to a team-mate who then goes on a 60 yard run beating several players and pings a worldie into the top corner the player who played the two yard ball in his own half gets an assist.

If a player goes on a 60 yard run beating several players and then lays on a 1 yard tap in for a team-mate who then swings and misses he gets no statistical credit whatsoever.

Be interesting how will do under Nuno. A big part of his "success" at Wolves was the movement / hold up play of Jimenez this manager could make or break him.

"DCL is only going to get better" is nothing more than a myth.

Ended the season with 5 goals in his last 22 PL matches; 8.63 goals in 38 matches ~projected~
Started off the season with 11 goals in his first 11 PL matches; 38 goals in 38 matches ~projected~

Totally unreliable. Put all of your eggs in his basket all you want, he has been incredibly wasteful & inconsistent.
We created fewer and fewer chances and we ran him into the ground chasing shadows. He played virtually every minute he was available until he was injured, then we pushed him back in early because we had no real options as back up and King was clearly either not up to standard or simply not used for political reasons.

Harry Kane has periods where he doesn't score as well, all strikers do. It's very rare to have a player score consecutively all the time, and certainly not when said player doesn't take penalties.

Wont get any better under Nuno. If he cant make chances for himself like Rom think he'll struggle for goals next season.
