Won't be surprised to see Utd or Chelsea come calling in the summer tbh. Both need a number 9 and can't see Haaland going to either of them two - could make it difficult for us to hold onto him.

In reality, how much you think we'd demand for him? £75m like Lukaku?
I don't really think about things like that tbh, I'd rather we keep him. It's also tough to say in a post covid market.

I'm shocked, quality balls get put in the box and he scores a couple. He hasn't had decent service this year really.

He is a poacher, he isn't clinical, but you get it in the right areas enough he will score.

Good on you, DCL.

There was one cross where Sterling got in the way and messed DCL up, otherwise might have been a hatrick.

Honest question lads. Do you think with 1 or 2 better players around him with better service, he can take us to next level??
For me I say yes because I feel he has that work ethic and determination to improve on his weaknesses. He has 23 goals so far for club and country. 19 in 31 for us in all competitions. I was one of biggest critic and only season before last said he was championship level at best. Proved me wrong and I ain’t shamed to admit it. He has great attitude on and off the pitch always talks well. With Carlo he can go up a other level I feel. But would like to know others thoughts if he is the man up top to take us where we want to be.

DCL has had a good development, but still has a bit to go on. The best strikers in Europe usually do better than the XG model, but right now he is a little behind it.

He’s scored more open play goals than anyone else in the prem for a team that has struggled to create chances for him. He has some weaknesses to his game but his penalty box movement and aerial ability are world class. He’s probably as good a poacher in the box as Lukaku was who was also world class at that, Lukaku had more to his game in terms of technique from outside the box but he’s one of the beat strikers in the world now.

It is extraordinary how his career has developed in a little over twelve months. He has probably added about 80m to his value in that time.
