Yeah as I said to another post - my original point was that the team that started today wasn’t not a ‘first choice’ England squad in defence of the slowish start we had.

Yeah I was agreeing with you, and just saying that you probably even understated the case - it's not like there were just a few players missing, it was basically an entire second string

Not sure if its been mentioned on here but the last Everton player to score on his England debut was Pickering, my dad often used to mentioned Fred Pickering scoring against Liverpool, lets hope DCL can carry on the tradition.
