If someone wants to bid 60m for him(which nobody will), sure, entertain the offer. If there are any tentative offers of less than 30m why even bother? His stock is really high right now. If Everton want to cash in they better make it worthwhile. He could replicate this season and get much better, flip side is this season could be a really good purple patch. Nobody really knows. He wasn't exactly cementing his position since that stupid "restart" crap.

The kid has all the physical attributes to be a very good player. His finishing is his biggest mark against him.

You want to sell an established premiership striker who is improving year on year and replace him with a youngster who has never played one minute in the first team.
Richy isn't going anywhere next season and Kean has shown to be better in the build up and better with the ball at his feet which Richy compliments more. Established for DCL? Not really IMO. Improving? Yes but also IMO is near his max potential already. Simms is showing much more promise than DCL did at his age and our youth system is known for letting talent be wasted. So yeah I think we should sell high on DCL and get the youngster in the first team as soon as we can since he's obviously not challenged in PL2. Its not a terribly new idea to have a youngster replace a first team player.

He's an athlete which is his biggest attribute and worst crutch. He's not going to be an elite striker and can only see him becoming a Antonio type striker that will put the odd bit in every season and good at pressuring the back line but otherwise doesn't impact the game

So you'd stick a player with 0 senior appearances on the bench next season?
With the league going to stick with the extended bench. Yes. Without a doubt. Carlo had Joao on the bench for first team match-day experience. The problem with our academy is we don't add them to the senior squad even if its just to ride the bench or get the few minutes at the end of a match. There are plenty of examples in the current team that went into the senior squad with no prior senior experience. That actually seems like a catch 22

But you want to sell DCL, promote Simms to Kean's bench spot and then presumably promote Kean to starting XI? Extended subs/bench or not that's not a great plan...

Ancelotti knows he will get 100% effort & commitment from DCL. He's also English so even if he doesn't want to fight his place in a year or two, we will get a good, good fee + he is HG which is an important factor. There are far worse players/strikers we include or could include for HG reasons. Scored two great goals this year, away at Arsenal & the home diving header. After Covid - the whole team and club seemed unprepared.

Currently IMO DCL has the higher resale value between him and Kean but I am predicting will drop next year after not being able to replicate his goal output. That while IMO Kean is the more talented and younger of the 2 and Richy scoring as many headers as DCL (his main selling point) makes a good argument for selling him and promoting our very promising youngster in Simms to the bench. Anything over €40m and we should sell

Richy, Kean & Simms heading into next season. Yikes.
