Dominic Calvert-Lewin watch

Just need Beto or Barry to start scoring so we can throw shade at him.

Until then, I have to admit that he'd be starting for us.
Based on his Leeds form so far he’d be having a similar impact to both in the sitter missing department.

I don’t want to throw shade at him, but I don’t think our strikers being crap and him being crap have to be mutually exclusive.

Legend, hope this is true
I’m sure the clip will be repeated on SSN tonight.

He said the last 3 years were stressful and he needed a new challenge. Went on about the psychological effects of struggling and potential internal job losses if we’d have been relegated etc, then said ā€œnobody wants a relegation on their CV.ā€

In hindsight I suppose he could have been saying it in the context of how close we came, rather than implying we’d be in trouble again, but still, if that’s your thinking it is probably best not to join a crap club and then proceed to not score every chance you get.

Interview dropped. @Brett Angell Delight needs a lesson in taking things out of context I feel, you scamp.

"People that weren't involved, or weren't inside the building, underestimate the kind of toll it took on the players that were involved. We're the ones that go on the pitch but we're not the ones that make the whole club tick, so there are people involved that could potentially lose their jobs, and with the club being relegated, because the funding's not the same; you don't get the same viewership and things like that. So us as players, as the pressure mounted, you start to feel that, and you start to feel responsible, and you also don't want to be, you don't want to have a relegation on your CV and you take pride in that also."
