It's our millenial fanbase that's the problem. They want it all and they want it now. Thing is they've never known true suffering. They didn't stand in GP along with the poor 18K souls on freezing November nights in the early 80"s watching pyar turd on display.
In their world they are used to having everything they want or ask for and exactly when they demand it. But what's this? Why aren't Everton boss, That doesn't compute, that's not in their script so let's all kick off and act like bells.
The old guard knows, the old guard waits.
Viva the old guard.
Since Moshiri has came into the club, I also feel that there's an aura of entitlement where people demand success right now (as you put it) without being realistic.
That's not saying we should ignore the fact that we've wasted a hell of a lot of money etc., but to expect that we should consistently be in the top bracket is naive.
There's nothing wrong with high expectations and we're all eager to succeed, yet the more level-headed of individuals understand it's difficult and will need time.
One moment in the last few years stands out for me: the booing of Schneiderlin before he'd even came on. Yes he'd make mistakes, but then people expect loyalty?
