Does anyone follow a second team?

My Grand parents, Great Grandparents and aunt are buried in Bluebell. We have done work on getting new headstones and gravel for their graves.

I love that cemetery- an oasis of calm in a busy city

That's an old cemetery

Have you ever been to the memorial park?

Always had a soft spot from BHA. I live in Oxford now, but have absolutely no interest in them or their horrendous so-called stadium.

Sheffield Wednesday and some team in Glasgow as well. Really though only Corks hurling and gaelic football teams and Carlton in the afl, are equal to Everton in terms of emotional investment and passion.
Not having a pop but i cant understand how as a football fan, Cork City get no mention amongst that lot? Ill be honest Everton are more a second team for me as i live and breath Cork City

Point taken mate. I was always more of a gaa man than soccer man when i was growing up. For whatever reason, i always enjoyed Cork winning more in gaa than in soccer.

I honestly don't know why that is. Perhaps it's because i grew up in a family that are massive gaa fans. They never had the same enthusiasm, towards either Cork City or Cobh Ramblers.

Carlisle - my grandad played a couple of matches for them early 1950s before jacking it in and earning a fortune plumbing instead.

Been to eight away games I think, lost six, drew one before finally getting a win at Port Vale, the team I haunted doing a sports journalism course at Staffs.

That was the last time. These days I'm reporting on games, so I don't get to "go the game" anymore. Probably a good thing.
