Some of you may or may not have picked up on the fact that I am a Doctor Who geek
I often keep this a secret on a first date.
I am talking about the original Doctor Who series from 1963-1989.
In the 70's and 80's, novels of the television stories were published in paperback, the Target range. They were also published in hardback by the parent company trading under Wingate/Allan Wingate/Longbow/WH Allen.
The books published in the 1970's were isssued with a dust jacket, while the 80's editions were published with laminated picture boards in place of the dust jackets.
Here's the thing, if any of you lot have any of the 70's Doctor Who hardbacks, I will pay you hard cash anything from £50 to £300 depending upon condition and title.
We are talking books with John Pertwee or Tom Baker on the front, with the odd Patrick Troughton and William Hartnell story.
Please check you attics etc!
If you have any from the 80's there are only 4 stories I am looking for: Unearthly Child, Warriors Gate, Keeper of Traken, Visitation. Looking for near mint condition.
