Do you need balls to be a football manager.

I like balls. Females don't have balls. :(

If they're good enough, then I'm all for it. It's a management position at the end of the day and a football club is a business.

Officiating is the same - it's simply watching a game and making calls on what they see; any man, woman or trained chimp could do it.

However, I don't think female footballers should play in the male leagues at any time in any way. It's right to keep them separate for a plethora of reasons.

Female footballers simply aren't capable of playing in the male leagues, though. It's not something that will ever come up.

Indeed. One of the plethora of reasons mentioned ^^

There's a difference between a glass ceiling and an actual ceiling!

men and womens football should always be kept apart, women's premier league is not anywhere close to the ability levels of the men's game. Women's national football would probably struggle to beat a conference team. That's my very sexist opinion.

Somethings in life shouldn't be about equality, sport is one of these for me.

On the OP i don't think a women manager would ever gain the respect of a male professional footballer, christ a young AVB is struggling to do it what chance has a bird who's never been in a male changing room in her life have. If you are going to present a case for women managing in the men's game then you may as well campaign for people who are running business' they may be good at management but haven't been involved in the game at any level either. waffled opinion made.

I think it shouldnt happen tbh. Part of the fun of going to the match is to verbally abuse other managers like Rafael, Fat Sam etc. If it was a woman then it wouldnt happen.

Ideally, Moyes lives in Jan and we sign a beastly, young nigerian female manager. She goes off to the african cup of nations and returns pregnant. We are stuck with Steve Rounds' zany press conferences for a year.
