I don't like my job but I am waiting to see if I can get a year out placement before I quit. If I don't get a placement I will be looking for another part time job.

have u ever has a job u didnt enjoy and what did u do about it

Bit different on Western side of the pond where we have at-will employment and can leave with as little as two week notice (and also be fired whenever).

I left one part time job I had in uni because I didn't like it and it was interfering with my ability to function.

I was planning to leave my past job after one year (so it wouldn't look fishy on the CV, I was free to go any time I wanted), but then the company closed so that was solved in a hurry.

My bit of advice would be to think long and hard about what is actually causing the issue. Get as deep as possible. If it's something that you think can be changed, go to your manager about it first and see if it can be fixed.

At the very least you've tried then, and a good boss will appreciate that, since they after all have a job to do too.

In my case, both times, I ended up hating the industry I was in. Not much my bosses could do about that.

Yes. I worked in the same field for two different companies from 03-12. Quit the first and started the second a week later. Was there for three years, and was miserable, so I quit a second time. Took nearly two years off.

Started a new job in January...it's really been fun so far.

I'm hating mine at the moment due to ongoing problems between management, staff and the union. It's sad really as its a cracking job but the horrible atmosphere in the office is crushing..... I'm lucky that I'm not office based every day but occasionally have to call in to do paperwork or send emails.... 1 day a week I spend a whole day in the office to get my paperwork upto date and attend per arranged review meetings and stuff bu still..... Half the staff don't speak to each other, my manager doesn't speak to us now as she has taken our grievances over working conditions personally .....our deputy manager sympathises with the staff and is on our side s there s tension between the 2 leaves of management..... All in all it's quite demoralising but hey ho..... I just turn in to work, crack on , do my job to the best I cn and go home at th end of the day....... Workplace disputes make me sick.
