So I have'nt had a shave in ages and I'm at the point of no return.

Do I go for it, or do I shave it off and start again?

I still wear the 'goat' and had a poor excuse for a beard going for a while (about 2 months) and decided I looked a prat so got rid.

Think we need pictorial evidence.

In my eyes, a scruffy, week or two stubble is a look anyone can pull off.

However, only the truly sophisticated, the Donald Sutherlands of the world, can get away with a properly coiffured effort.

Dont bother.

I tried it, but it's pathetic, so I dont bother anymore. If I cant have awesome facial hair, I cant see why anyone else should.

My chin is the only place, from my neck up, that hair grows, so, I'd say grow it lad.
It's easy to shave off if you don't like it.

Geez - just checked the results, "grow it" is beating "cheese on toast"
It won't last.
