Dmitri Payet's ankle: an obituary.

I don't remember Victor Anichebe's injury, but the injuries I mentioned were long before last week, so I can't see the sense in you point. I'm not a WHU fan and if Nolan indeed broke Victor's leg, he should have been away too.
Yes I know the injuries were not that recent, I mean the absolute fuss we've seen from angry hammers has been OTT in my opinion.

At the end of the day all players know it's a contact sport and take that risk, being paid very well for it.

Remember David Buust? His career ended. Was that accidental or intentional? How can you prove it either way in a crowded penalty area? Do you ban the tackling player anyway, and risk suspending someone for an innocent accident?

I understand your reasoning for equal length ban/injury but is it practical in every case? If not, it won't work due to consistency issues.

Boss, this Devil's advocate lark.

How a scissor tackle can't be foul I don't know. It could have been worse than 3 months. Please try to remain unbiased about that tackle. James Mccarthy needs to learn how to tackle, for his own sake too, he often injures himself by going for stupid challenges.

Where were you when Cleverley got taken out by Weir this season?

Imagine if they did that tho.

And then the jarg little midget never played again and West Ham could claim the 36m in transfer and wages they spunked on the little no mark.

Football would become a non contact sport overnight.

That was going to be my next point - no-one would touch anyone again for fear of losing the £80k/ week pay days.

It's not practical.

Who do you support if you don't support WHU?
It doesn't matter who I support, as my implication isn't related to the team I support. I just find Payet as a delightfully delicious player, so I am disappointed by his injury.
Judging by the first three letters of his username, probably United.
I am fascinated that you came to that conclusion as my username refers to a rebellion legend from the era of East India Company. Would love to hear your explanation! :)
