Not too bothered if it's true, we're absolutely crap at the back when he's in the team. It would also show Martinez isn't as soft as he may appear, and despite being very positive in interviews it's good to know he can give out a rollicking when it's required.

Isn't Browning a centre half anyway, who's just been filling in at right back?

We have Browning and Alcaraz, Galloway (who knows if he's ready?), as well as Barry/Besic at a push.

It's a real shame though as Distin has been a great player and ambassador since he was surprisingly signed, hopefully things can be resolved and quickly as we need everyone pulling in the same direction at this point of the season.
