My Uncle died on Sunday Morning and i am flying back on Wednesday,Do you think i would an Ar*ehole if i could go the Norwich game on Saturday. Is Football is more important than Life or Death ?

Firstly, sorry to hear lid. Secondly, when is the funeral scheduled for? Lastly, have you told them when you arrive?

Was your Uncle a Blue ???

Me Nan died 2 years ago . On Grand National Day .

Thus , we were at home the following day .

However , as me Nanna was a long-time Season ticket Holder herself , as was I , I went .

She would've wanted me to .

Felt a bit weird at first , but it was O.K.

Condolences , btw , mate .
 
I think only you can answer that one mate.

Life is more important than football ever will be, but if your Uncle was a Blue, then you know what to do.

Respect and regards to your Uncle and your family.

sorry to hear that :( My condolences to you.

Its difficult. I would have a think about it, and see how you feel. I dont think anyone could accuse you of being disrespectful if you gave it careful consideration.
 

Go to it mate, anyone who comments and wants to be snidey after your flying half way round the world aren't worth getting arsed about.

Have a bevvy for your uncle, kopite or not not I guess he was a scouser first and foremost.

Family is more important.. but sometimes we all need our time and place to grieve. I know I did when my da passed on.
I took a photo of him with me to Goodison and said a prayer for him when Zcars was playing. For the first 5mins I had tears streaming but I felt so close to him. Sorry to hijack your thread.

Again deepest condolences.
