Ok people I am in a serious dilemma and need your assistance. Most of the time I can quite easily make decisions but this one is very difficult for me personally and only Evertonians can truly help me here....

In a few weeks it's my mates Stag do. 5/6 of us are going upto Liverpool for 2 nites to soak up the city and party!!!

Transport, Hotel etc all sorted. Now here is the Dilemma.

The stag is a Liverpool fan and has been all his life. However, he has never been to Anfield....!!!

He wants to go on the Anfield stadium tour, and wants me to go with him....!!!

I clearly don't want to as i've been to Anfield before for derby's and am not interested in their trophy room one bit.

I did, however, pledge it was upto him what he does as he's getting married.

Do i...

1) tell him its against my religion. (My official religion is Everton by the way)

or

2) go with him on the tour???

Please....anyone....HELP!!!

It's just a game at the end of the day bud. All the banter is just that. Banter. Go check the ground out. You'll probably enjoy the experience, and besides, you'll be able to see where the best place to plant the explosives is.

Go with him mate, he's your mates and he'll be there for you when footie isn't.

Obviously antagonise him on the sly during the tour like.

That is true mate. He is a good lad, especially when it comes to the fact that we support rival teams. He knows his stuff and never rubs my face in it so I think i will go with him.

I was going to take C4 like blue said, but Gillette and Hicks are doing a fine job of reducing Anfield to rubble....

Last time I went to Liverpool (West Ham game), one of my mate's came with me for the first time. He wanted to do a Stadium tour and I told him, he could do whatever he wanted, but that I wouldn't be joining him. Also in case he bought anything from LFC, I was carrying an EFC bag to put his purchases in. All went well in the end though. He went over as a neutral and came back pledging his allegiance to the Blues.

I'm sure your friend would understand if you'd go for option A.

Liverpool are my mates and family. Don't get me wrong, they do my head in massively but we both play a part in what this city is.

And it's fading a bit, which is sad. The bells.

For the record, I agree that friends are more important than football. It's just that I'm quite sure your friend will understand your point of view. Mine clearly did. They al do tbh, never questioned my allegiance to the Blues.

yeah he would understand i think. I just needed your guys view to keep me down to earth in case I acted over the top and let male pride cloud my judgement....

but it depends how much it costs...i'm not bailing them out of their financial hole....my mate would defo understand if something is a rip off...he's no mug either.

My mate payed 15 pounds for it last time.
