Did we, or did we not chant murderers?

Personally im not to bothered about it, I've heard it sung at the majority of derbies I've been to or watched on tv. I do think it does look bad when they sing it straight after a Hillsborough tribute like at Wembley last year and anfield this year. I like to think the people singing it know that's it not about Hillsborough but it can be taken the wrong way and make our fans look bad as a whole.

It always gets sung at derbies and always will. I get caught up in it myself because I hate Liverpool more than anything else in the whole world.

It generally gets sung in response to a "Liverpool, liverpool" chant so if the kopites don't like it then the logical conclusion is for them to stop singing "Liverpool ..."

Football matches at the most visceral level aren't places for polite conversation and discussion about tactical nuances they replace war, a no holds barred "cross my family and I'll kill you" arena... and y'know what we love it.

Watching telly later with a cuppa and a bourbon you think "bit off that ... shouldn't be saying that sorta stuff - especially being mid 40s!!".

Trouble is volcano like emotion doesn't work like that - when the vicars daughter who looks like Catherine Zeta Jones starts playing with your nob you don't say "best I stop this - it's a sin against all that is good and holy" you ram it good and hard into the warmest moist heaven grunting like an ape. We are in part beasts - no use denying it - all we can do is try and deal with it, usually age and experience eventually does that job.

They're not murderers which puts it at the dodgy end of shte humour but whatever the right legal term is a good sized group of their mob chased another set of fans causing the deaths of 39 people - the counter shteness is they attempt to lump said insult in with Hillsborough despite the shared grief - now that IS evil.

I personally have never sung "murderers" and think it has no place in 2013.

I know it's half term and that but serious question - how old are you? "Hate More than anything else in the world" is a bit strong isn't it?

Where are you from? Do you have any mates or family that are reds?

I appreciate I'm probably in the minority on the Everton interwebby but I don't "hate" Liverpool. Save for Oliver Cromwell, a few terrorist organisations, Maggie Thatcher and pickled onions I don't "hate" anything.

Life's too short to go round blindly hating a group of a few hundred thousand.

If you say you "hate" the RS so passionately - how can you explain that to your kid without contradicting probably most of what they've been taught in terms of basic values?

Liverpool are the city's second team now. We should just be looking forward not back nearly 28 years.

Liverpool are not to blame for our demise since the 80s.

Our respective boards are.

This season was my 1st Derby, i hate them and would never pay to go see it, cos its my 1st year of being a season ticket holder i went to a Derby. i never heard it in the last Derby. "We know what you are" was amazing tho!

Murderers sung or not it beggars belief how Heysel is hardly ever mentioned across the park. It matters not why they died the fact that football supporters perished at match, in a stadium chosen by UEFA that wasn't fit for the purpose. No one will ever forget Hillsborough, quite rightly, so why should Heysel be consigned to history by Liverpool?

Didn't see them rip that Steaua Bucharest flag off those holding it in the Kop did you? Nor try and police themselves singing Munich en masses every time they play United?

or rip into Lee Carsleys handicapped child!

Or wish Cancer on Beckhams kids.

A person is usually OK, people aren't. When they're grouped up there's no worse shower of Kunts in football. Genuine nasty scum.
