Last nights game was frustrating, annoying and full of tension but the thing that pissed me off most was Ratcliffes crap commentry. Everything he said was negative, I know it was a [Poor language removed] performance but even when McFadden scored he was still droaning on.

The only thing he said that was right was the fact we didnt bring Carsley on!!!

Yeah and why can he not say Jagielka or Anichebe? Its not like the main commentator was getting it wrong.

Its like that cock who used to say Cantona (pronounced Kan-Town-ar) - did he not hear the songs from the terraces.

Or Brian Moore who used to pronounce Scholes as Shhhhhoals.

Oh and that keeper should have been an oscar for his acting, and a red!!!

No not at all. It was good to hear someone commentate on a match who has a strong opinion and doesnt keep mouthing out plain boring football cliches. I didnt agree with everything he was saying no, but I'd rather listen to someone who has a thought in their head than bland commentary.

the person who was the main host on channel 5... the way he pronounced everton was doin my tits in lol

Calm down hothead, I wasn't exactly being serious....

And I wasnt being hotheaded either, I was simply asking how you can call him a Nob for all he has done for Everton. Fair enough if you were'nt being serious.

I thought rats was just wearing his blue heart on his sleeve - the negativity was down to frustration I thought. Thought Ch5 did a good job of getting an all-blue cast last night. A million times better than having John Barnes. Even colin "i'm red and this is BONKERS" murray seemed to get sucked into the atmosphere.

didnt notice the pronunciation last night i was too wrapped up in everything, but is it rats who calls Vic "anchovie"? someone was doing that on some evertontv highlights a few weeks ago and it drove me nuts

Carsley was apparently not fit so that answers Rat's question. As for his commentary I was hardly listening anyway. I was in shell shock, heart attack, elation, shouting at the box, no time to listen.

Your right bluewoo, he was talking as a fan and he wasnt ashamed to show it. Good on him I reckon, too many players/managers/ex players now believe that because you've been in the game you cant show allegiance to one club. Well [Poor language removed] that I say.

The game needs characters and Rats has been a blue all his life, played, captained and picked the cup up for us. He can call vic Anchovies if he wants, in fact he can call Moyes pepperoni for all I care, the mans an Everton legend!

What some of these need to realise is that Rats has forgotten more about the game than most of those moaning about him will ever know. The guy is a legend and a gentlemen and we blues should show him full and complete respect for all that he did for us in the 80's. I couldn't give a [Poor language removed] how he pronounces stuff its what he says that counts and he said it as a blue(y)

rats was a bit poor!!

especially when he said that vic was the only attack minded player we have on the bench!!!

he thought lucas was a defender until the other bloke told him that he is a striker we brought from swindon!!!!!

gotta learn the basics before you go on live tv sorry!!
