Dexter v Breaking Bad

Netflix is amazing, anyway just finished 24 and an amazing show, now cant decided to watch Dexter (season 3) seen the last two season last year or start Breaking Bad, I did enjoy Dexter but don't know if season 3 is better then the first two.

I love Dexter, but you need to jib it right off if you haven't started BB. BB needs to be your priority here I feel.

There are only one or two shows better than BB (Mad Men being one, maybe The Wire too), but there are a fair few shows better than Dexter. Gave up on Season 6 or so.

Yeah something like that, he wanted to be just like Dexter but failed miserably cause he was crap.

That was awful. It made the silly english woman from the season before seem bearable.

I stopped watching after that. Apparently it got good again.

Breaking Bad is a must but definitely try and find time to watch seasons 4-7 of Dexter.

Haha true.

Season 4 was awesome and the best one, 5 was pretty gash, 6 and 7 ok but suffered from sloppy writing. 8 is more of the same.

The series with the professor bloke and the young guy was terrible, think that was 5 but could have been 6. Not seen any of the final series yet.

Yeah that was 6, thought it was alright, they made a good pair for a plot line.

Plus the end really changed things between Dexter and his sister which made for some of the best parts of season 7.

I just thought it was a bit thrown together to engineer the bit at the end of the series, with little thought about the bits inbetween. Dont get me wrong tbough it's still one of my favourite series ever but definitely 1 more series (current one) is all its got left in it so im glad they're ending it.

Yeah it needs to end and obviously will at the end of this season.

After 4 it became Dexter by numbers, worth a watch but still same show different bad guys.

Best parts since 6 has been the relationship bewteen him and Debs, apart from that there's only so many times he can break into someones house, find clues that the whole of Miami Metro can't, almost get caught from sloppiness but get away with it in the end anyway.
