Great news, never realised he never had one ...... will always be a legend to me for 66 and watching on a black and white tv in desperation as we went 2-0 down, the rest of course is history including Derek Temple's winner .

....I've mentioned a few times on here that I played in a charity game with him once. Dave Hickson asked me to play with him and a few old Everton greats, including Temple. I was about 19 and Temple was in his 40s but he was really enthusiastic. I went out early with him and he hit a few shots at me, he was a lovely striker of a football which was very evident with that famous goal. Great memory for me.

I think Ray Veall only played about thirteen , Johnny Morrisey played most of that season about twenty three matches.

But he was in my Subbuteo team. An outrage. 9 games in the season, if Wikipedia is to be believed.
