I'm coming over from Finland for the derby with 11 friends. We will also have ladies in our party so I'm asking you guys what would be the best section of getting tickets. I've been to matches before (seats in Bullens, Paddock) but for the derby I want my friends (and myself) to have the best possible seats for both atmosphere and view to the pitch. As I can only book the tickets at the beginning of november, there won't be any better seats left.

How are the last rows in Upper Gwladys, can you see well or is it good only for its noise level? If not that, what other good options do I have (hopefully far away from the reds).

Thanks for your help mates!

Park end , only unobstructed - totally- view in the stadium . However , you wont get 11 together , I wouldn't imagine , so I too would say Upper Bullens , though the RS are in that stand .

Whatever you do, avoid lower bullens at all costs though! Top balcony is spot on for view too but the bullens flood lights blind you lol. Upper Gwladys ain't fantastic view wise

prepare to sit seperated, you'll struggle to get 11 together for any game tbh, so best chances for the derby may be from r/s cos i dont reckon they'll show up this year - socks or not.

never even tried to get tickets for the league derby, however it was fairly easy to get them for the gosling derby, and that was in gwladys street even. So is it actually likely that i'll be able to get one? Haven't been yet this season but making my debut for the villa game ;) lol

Thanks for your ideas mates. It won't be a problem whether I get 4 or 12 sitting together, if we get into same stand would be brilliant. I was thinking of upper bullens, as far away from rs as possible. On the other hand upper gwladys sounds very tempting, there we could really feel Goodison rocking (as long as we don't repeat last night). Do you guys know if you can see properly from the top two rows, those seem to be the only possible (looking at the other matches which seats are left after all the members have bought their tickets) seats in the gwladys street not talking about the obsturcted ones)

I suppose Park End is almost impossible to get tickets (especially 12).

There will be posts in your way, i sat pretty much smack bang in the middle and still had a post in the way
