Dear fellow Evertonians,

I have been a blues fan for many years now but only in the last couple of seasons had chance to get upto Goodison and watch the blues in action (expect for the Charity Sheild in 1995 aged 8 mind!). I managed to see 4 live games last season and hoping todo more this season.

My question however, is what is the likleyhood of me getting a ticket to the Derby on Sunday the 17th Oct at Goodison? I realise its a long way off at the moment but was hoping to book the weekend off work in readiness. If obviously your all saying no chance etc then I wont but if theres even a slim chance, ill take the risk. I have signed up for the Evertonia membership thing this year for what its worth and im also hoping to have at least 1 game under my belt before th derby itself. I also understand I will need to wait for general sale but do they often sell out before general sale?

did the last one even sell out? i'm sure they went on general sale, which they never normally do.

when we have an early derby it generall goes off 1 of the earlier games, couple of years ago we played pompey or b/burn and to get it sold out they announced that it would guarantee a derby ticket.
 
You should be fine with an Evertonia membership, I've been to the last 3 derbys at Goodison on the strength of that and got half decent seats.
 

Only ones that turn up are snidey obstructed views. Might be worth waiting to find out who is reffing before mincing a load of cash up the wall. Oh, and the Kopites get in as well, so you could end up sat next to one of them.
 
Really appreciate the reply lads. Was just conerned I would need a number of stubs or been to a number of games to be eligable for a ticket.

On the face of what ive heard im gunna book the time off and hope for a ticket! I was pretty sure I would be fine but needed to hear it from you local lads to be sure ;)

And im from down south buddy. A town called Eastbourne just near Brighton. The connection with the blues though is my old man is from up north and like father like son ey! We have a good little fan base down here though, few of us meet regular when we are on TV and last season a few of us went down to Pompy which is only an hour away!
