Derbies,how do they compare?

I couldnt ever go to see a game in our country. I start fuming when they start singing even if were not playing.
 

Not european, but went to see boca juniors vs river plate at the bombanera. Incredible atmosphere, turd football.
 
Saw Barca v Real in last years CL semi, atmosphere was incredible even though it was pissing down for the entire game. Abidal's reception when he came on was something i'll never forget, they really did like that fella.
 

Sporting vs Benfica... this season, Sporting supporters set fire to a stand of Benfica's stadium.

Tigre are officially safe now. Glad for Denis.

It is weird though. Based on four season's form. I suppose it was designed to protect the big boys in the event of a bad season or two. Didn't work for River though.

In the case of River though it shows that the theory works the opposite, they had a bad season which then meant that unless they won the league for the next 4 years then they would go down, their relegation was an inevitability really but they had prior warning I suppose, like a guillotine over their heads though with a frayed rope ready to drop. Itr coulkd have the exact opposite effect really as if you know from the beginning of the season that relegation will happen then you'd rather be down and rebuilding as opposed to it being deferred.
 

EFC Vs LFC used to be great, but imo Newcastle Vs Sunderland is a bigger derby in terms of atmosphere now...past few ones ive seen the fans have been so loud and passionate.

MUFC Vs MCFC will soon be a spectacular one
