Very fair point. Absolutely no overlaps available - even after Gray has slowed the attack to a full stop. Our wingers are doing it on their own. We have no wing back play. It’s a 3 V 1 every time Gray gets the ball

Firstly no. Holgate was in a different realm of bad. Behave yourself.Probably the worst player on the pitch today - and that includes Iwobi, Gana, Myko and Holgate. Drop him now.
I think he’s a very poor but occasionally brilliant player. That said, this is a very fair point - it’s not a set up that makes it easy for forwards. Our wingers are doing it on their own. We have no wing back play. It’s a 3 V 1 every time Gray gets the ball
Holgate hasn't played for months and was given 2 dodgy cards - and yes overall he had a poor game - but Gray didn't do a single positive thing.Firstly no. Holgate was in a different realm of bad. Behave yourself.
Secondly, Iwobi doesn't deserve the be in that list.
You must be right about our views on the game as your categorising someone who got skinned all game and then sent off for 2 daft challenges (after being skinned) to someone who added to the forward play and would have got an assist had Dom taken that chance (which would have won us the game). No ones performance was particularly amazing but Holgate was in a different league to everyone else. And using the excuse that he hasn't played for months is weak in my opinion. When returning a player to the line up should we just accept that they will have a naff game and get sent off? Completely disregarding that they will need to have trained with the team before playing a matchHolgate hasn't played for months and was given 2 dodgy cards - and yes overall he had a poor game - but Gray didn't do a single positive thing.
And Iwobi ? If you think that his performance was acceptable then we have very different views on the game.
