Does it seem odd that we are 20th on the list with a revenue of £144m, an increase of over £60 from the previous 2 seasons, and if you take in to account player trading, why have we got no money to spend???

Just unlucky the revenue has come in during an era of unprecedented other operating cost rises mate. Nothing we can do about it.

Because, as a result of having more lolly, clubs want more for their players and all the players want more dosh. It's a vicious circle. Not forgetting Kenwrights 'down the back of the sofa' fund allegedly.

Financially we're in a much more secure position than we've ever been, based on our turnover. More income and a declining level of debt.

However, as @Chang Elephant mentioned this has been offset by other operational costs.

We may be better off overall, but our disposable income is still somewhat limited compared to others. Hopefully with more success it will improve.

It worth mentioning that we paid £28 million for a striker in the summer on top of other signings. We can't really moan about what we spend right now.

Agreed mate the OOC's are killing us, we need a new board willing to investigate and find out what they are. Can't say much more without talking about the board which could really do with it's own thread.
