Because its not trauma. Its a rich boy's excuse for not fulfilling various contracts.
Oh christ. You're another one.
I wonder if he explained fully his so-called medical condition to Frank and Billy the Liar when he signed
his 100k a week contract at EFC?
No. He didn't. He admitted himself he buried a lot of stuff.

He'd been an Everton player for what, 15 or 16 months before facing up the the reality of his addiction.

I'm more annoyed with the people who thought he was a good deal than with the player himself who has had enough crap to fill two lifetimes.

The fact is that he's an Everton player. He's recognised his addiction and he's gone for treatment. We're paying him anyway so you'd hope he getting every last bit of support from the training staff to get back to something like a top flight player. As supporters we should do the same.

Spot on. Except I’d say as human beings, rather than supporters.

It’s not as traumatic as [checks notes] driving a taxi according to our Roy.

Grim stuff.
Tony, the entire Dele story is a con with Deli as a willing participant, Bill and Frank and EFC the mugs,
and Daniel Levy the trickster.

Think about it: Deli was not wanted at Spurs, clearly in decline but on massive wages. Who would be mug enough
to buy him? We know who.

He then comes to EFC, underperforms on the pitch but shines in the Sun with a model, fools a team in Turkey for
a season and on return taking a page out of modern PR practice comes up with a victim's story to justify his failure to perform.

I’m sure that last paragraph makes sense in some language, but certainly not in English.

But it’s pretty irrelevant, since it wouldn’t have made the blindest bit of difference in Dele’s case.
Swap via for v or versus. It’s pretty clear from the context, have you never read through a typo before?

Great argument you’ve made there though 👍🏻

Blimey. Bit harsh that mate. Yes there have been a few conflicting stories about his child hood and no one other than Deli knows the truth, but to straight out not believe him is a bit low. Why on earth would someone make up such a story and bring it out fully in to the public eye?

I wouldn't let it upset you in all honesty.

@GrandOldTeam could top up the busicuit fund by selling "Admin for the day" packages.

Just sayin!
