As @gav1985 said Hinchcliffe could put the ball exactly where he wanted, top delivery.

Bolasie hits a 'heavy' ball, might be worth giving him a go. I notice Ghezzal at Lyon hitting fearsome free kicks, perhaps it's a gap RK and SW have identified.

It's a confidence thing - Ross's free kick against Swansea - the game he had a skinhead and it pissed down - was top drawer. Mirrallas' v Villa at Goodison (2014?) was up there with the best I've seen as well as Bainsey's against Chelsea in the cup in some years back as well as those v West Ham.

Saying that about confidence, when Rom lined up Sunday I thought more chance he was going to hit me and I'm towards the back (& left) of the Gwladys!!!

So, I reckon the ability is there in the current team! But for me, there's only been one Sheedy! Getting old.

Those you mention can all hit a decent dead ball, the problem is none of them can do it consistently, even Baines went right off the boil.

I was at that game , the man was a genius simple as that , I was once at bell field watching him put mitre delta case balls from a fair distance into a bin . He hit the target 4 times out of the 5 he hit . Wasn't blessed with pace , but didn't have to , he would bamboozle them with his passing range . Oh and I've got his shirt . Loved the guy

I was there too, he was incredible to watch. A wand of a left foot. My dad always said he was lazy too, he didn't like tracking back but he didn't need to, he could score from anywhere around the box.

I was at Bellfield back then too, I think they used to have Open Days or something.

He's something of a footballing genius and he'd adapt to whatever era you put him in (were it possible to do so)
