I'm pretty sure the God Squad on here (using the term in it's nicest possible sense) wouldn't agree that they held lesser beliefs

Dawkins is a rationalist, so by his measure, any belief that doesn't have a basis in rational thought, such as a superstition, is a lesser belief.

That's fine, Gordon. I don't understand why people get emotional about religion, though. It can be defended, but only by an appeal to metaphysics, which is something, and not beyond the realms of what might be considered possible.
