It would be a bizarre situation if Unsworth, as Blue as they come and already a winner with the U23s, is being frozen out by Allardyce and co given a more than reasonable possibility that at least one or more of them stand to be culled in the summer if things don't improve rather dramatically between now and the end of the season.

...I just can’t see Unsworth being part of the inner-sanctum. He knows Shakespeare and he knows Lee, I somehow doubt Unsworth is consulted on much. Walsh probably talks to Unsworth a fair bit and will have a view on the quality of youngsters coming through.

It’s just conjecture on my part. If Kenwright is truly leaving, perhaps the club have been too focused on having ex-players on the staff.
