Penalty aside I thought we played well enough to earn a point.

I’ve had it from some reds that even they thought the ref was biased.

I was disappointed that we didn’t really try to do anything at all to change the flow of the game. We just played in the same way for 90 minutes despite never getting any sort of foothold or looking like we could cause them problems. It was one of those games where it felt like it was worth just rolling the dice and seeing if something happened but we were very conservative and almost looked like we accepted a 1-0 defeat as not too bad.

He's not under threat but he needs to start using these younger lads and moulding them into a cohesive unit.

Its almost as if theyre not getting the same pressing instructions or tactical and passing instructions as one anothet. They look like strangers.

Iroegnunam, Alcaraz & Dibling need to be told to enjoy themselves for the next month and play to win.

Then it should be up to KDH, Ndiaye and Gana to win their places back.

Theyre on eggshells.

The wife has a bit of a fondness for Everton and tolerates football. She said tonight he seems better than Dyche and some of the others. I know he is, but I still see the shadow of Kenwright in him. McNeil playing is typical Moyes. Looking for safeness, but not finding it. 1-0 on the face of it, plucky Everton penkife to the gunfight. Sadly we win nothing with Davy.

To be honest the gameplan was the only real chance we had of getting something with our weakened team. We were in the game until the last minute which was a success really. Had we changed up it could have been like the Newcastle game and ended badly.

Weird take this tbh. Palace are a better side than Leeds, but they got spanked tonight. Are we only allowed to take points from 4 or 5 sides this season?

Can I moan that our right back gave away a ludicrous penalty? Or that our starting striker was absolutely embarrassing? Or that our subs bench was chronic? Or that we seem to have signed several players well below the technical level required for the Prem? Let me know ta.

His achilles heel on show again tonight. I'd much rather lose giving it a go then just playing submissive football especially being at home but Moyes can't change his natural inclinations of caution over ambition

There was definitely a decent shout for saying sod it let’s just try something different because we could have played another 90 minutes the way we did and we wouldn’t have scored.

In one. I believe, once we went behind, that Moyes would be given more credit had he gone with the subs immediately and rolled the dice. Protecting our goal difference isn't something he needs to worry about this season.
