Again this is kinda my point though. We should be trying to build up the quality in the team and if we were doing that finishing basically anywhere is fine. But we’re playing loanee Jack Grealish, James Tarkowski and Idrissa Gueye every week. The tactical progression doesn’t really exist either. This is not indistinguishable from a cerca 2009 Moyes team. The only way to make progress is to win a lot. 10th isn’t enough.

It’s just so weird to me how the fan base both wants the team to improve enough compete to win things again and also laughs at the idea that there may actually need to be a real plan for how that might happen.

Buy another striker though right? That’ll fix it?
