2025/26 David Moyes

Because they are all capable of, and will go on a run. We are 14th and barely improved after spending £100m

Are we improved from the Moyes Jan - May side, to this side?

Honestly, I felt more confident with when we were in like March/April. This side aren’t capable of putting a run together.
To balance that, over £60m of players signed walked in the summer. So it's a net spend net quality issue isn't it.

His mentality stinks same as ever. All he's offered post-match is "they're a Champions League team and they're better than us". As if to say what do we all expect?

They hadn't won away all season and have several key players out of form. Nobody is demanding we win, but we're demanding that we don't shoot ourserlves in the foot from the off. Not acknowledged how woeful the decision to go with that CM pairimg was. Or even tried to defend Ireobugnam publicly (many managers would do). It's like he can just wash his hands of it all.

Such a tosser.

I think we need too…

Moyes gave the green light to Dibling, ww chased ALL summer and he clearly doesn’t like him

Thank God we are scoring so many goals and don’t need him
no idea what's happened there, I expect a decent run in the epl was on the cards for getting new faces game time. didn't work out. maybe if the side wasn't so reliant on N'Diaye and barry and beto were netting then dibling would have gotten more time involved.
Remember Moyes left Baines out for nearly 12 months, and he was older and more prem experienced than dibling is (Baines had Everton youth on his side to).
Today showed why the club was so keen to get Gana tied down to a two year extension. Howe today had the cards to play to out manoeuvre Moyes. He used those options well.
Tim Iroegbunam was a lost little lamb today, newcastle cut through us at will. Out gunned and out manned.

He was like that the last time he was here because we were “punching above our weight “ team for about three years.

Personally I thought his attitude and demeanour after we got knocked out of the cup at Wolves was appalling. Privately he may have been feeling different but to have such a dismissive attitude publicly said a lot to me.
