2025/26 David Moyes

Civil servant , I'd never have guessed.
Yep. Paying benefits to the unemployed, the sick, and the elderly. I'm not ashamed of that role. One militant bar-steward in the 1970s & '80s. On the picket line of every strike. Office rep and on the Merseyside Committee of my union in both the clerical and executive grade. The days when union reps were hard militants, not like the wet nellies of today...

Now I know why you’re so upset about the Barry miss - the Germans also missed a good chance to win early on in the war and were then [Poor language removed] after that. You’ve seen the ball go over the bar and thought ‘it’s Stalingrad all over again’.
Absolutely no need for that remark. The stupidity of it is glaring. Keep on making an idiot of yourself in this thread. It just shows how low your mental capability is...

Will all my fans please try to get back on topic!
Moyes was not responsible for Barry's miss at 1-0.
Moyes was not responsible for Zhaka's deflected equaliser.

However, I look forward to the gobeens coming back to me and disputing the above.

I've been laughing at the replies here. I throw out a line, and all the thick little fishies bite...

@Old Blue 2 forgive me chief, and I might be all over the show here, but it's a bit rich championing 'little fishies biting' when you're on a 6 consecutive reply run. This area is different from the other parts, it gets a lot more traffic and input from a much more diverse and less known element. Chill a bit?

I don't disagree with your opening statements - but there's no need to be such a berk about it with your closing insult.

You've got the job! Clearly the stand out candidate

Always chair of my local branch when I was in Social Welfare to 2001. A member in Health to 2006, then moved to Agriculture where I was Department branch chair from 2015 to my retirement at end 2021.

Really important to engage constructively with the powers that be though very often and uphill battle.

I don’t believe Dibbling, Aznou and Barry were Moyes signings. He’s not playing them for a reason.

Trusting Moyes with money is a fair argument. Not sure I do either. He works better with scraps and piecing together a functioning team.
It’s now become a religious belief that you and others don’t believe Moyes signed those players. It defies all logic and reason. Moyes gets the DOF role booted and demands he has final say on all transfers. There’s literally no one else who could have authorised those transfers unless you’re saying Kinnear did it without Moyes agreement. Hammond’s role has nothing to do with identifying players and the other members of the transfer committee weren’t working for Everton in the summer.
