2025/26 David Moyes

Management grade civil servant in the Home Civil Servant.

Specialist Editor of the 12-volume 'Luftwaffe Combat Archive' by Red Kite.

You call me simple? Go play with the buses!

Compared to me, YOU are the simple man. And if your 'FACHT' is german (there are many constructions on the word, both german and in other languages, and yes, I can speak german) tyhen you are the one who is 'facht'.
Ooh a management grade civil servant, such exalted company. Lollipop man, I'm assuming with the "Go play with the buses" line. I'm starting to think that you are a WUM account, as a real person couldn't be so self aggrandising with such earnestness, so I'll pop you on ignore and we can both move on with our lives.

Is Morrisons booked?

Tickets will fly off the shelves for a Bonfire Night Bust Up.

And we have somebody on board who could knock out a literary masterpiece for the event programme.

I
If i was Angus Kinnear then at this point I'd be asking TFG for another £100mil.

If I was Marc Watts I'd suggest to him that selling KDH (£28mil), Beto (£20mil), McNeil (£20mil), Patterson (£2mil) would be the preferred approach to January to bring in £70mil.

Do that and TFG may top it up to £100mil for a CM & a CF.

Mykolenko's contract expires in the summer so he needs an extension now, even if the plan is to sell him in the summer. Aznou either needs to be used or loaned.

The focus really has to be selling players now.
Zat I get that you're very discontent with KDH , but it is extremely implausible that we will be selling a player that we just acquired in the summer and seems to be one of the manager's preferred players

For me I'm just not seeing any willingness from Moyes to be more versatile with his tactics , team selection and timing of his subs. That rigidity usually signals the downfall and inevitable sacking of a manager when they encounter a slump.

He thinks he's Ancelotti though. Watch him enter his next press conference tomorrow with his 'trademark' cup of coffee, sipping away at it like he's Don Carlo.

The ego of this feller knows no bounds. He believes because he landed a third grade euro piss post it entitles him to do wtf he wants at Everton.

He’s head of recruitment, why do his fan boys say he never signed him and he never signed him etc . Paddy Boyland has just said in the byline podcast, Moyes has the final say( which I don’t agree with) should be taken out the managers hands imo
Thank you , Ive been trying to convey that point on here for awhile , I think people misinterpreted him griping about lack of signings during the summer as a dig on the club when it was more likely him venting his frustration over his inability to get the signings he wanted as you stated he's an integral aspect of the recruitment team. Moyes has been a man who likes to be involved in club matters and have as much control as possible thus the conflict at West ham when they brought in a new DOF.

Civil servant , I'd never have guessed.

… (and yes, I can speak german)
Now I know why you’re so upset about the Barry miss - the Germans also missed a good chance to win early on in the war and were then [Poor language removed] after that. You’ve seen the ball go over the bar and thought ‘it’s Stalingrad all over again’.

But Carlo would have a hand presser Italian espresso while Moyes drinks a cup of Gold Blend.

I bet there's Irn Bru in Moyes' cup.

This club's too big for Moyes.

It was always too big for him even in the Kenwright era, and it certainly is now under these new owners and the stadium we have.

It's like giving donkeys strawberries handing this club to Moyes to manage.

Moyes has largely been proven right on that score. The signing made by that Steidten fella have been awful. He blocked Moyes from signing McTominay while Moyes refused to accept Fullkrug, who they went back in for the following year, and he’s been an absolute disaster for them.

putz!

I’ll be honest, if Everton were ever to win that ‘3rd rate’ trophy, nobody would see me for about a month. I’d be sitting watching replays of the game over and over again, drunk………and nude.

I wouldn't run it down either.

But winning it doesn't warrant Moyes' arrogance...he's the same feller who ruined the English league champions and destroyed them for a generation in domestic and European terms; and he also consigned Sunderland to the second tier of English football for a decade too.
