2025/26 David Moyes

Like any manager, he'll get sacked if results don't pick up.

Given the fixtures, 1 win in 8 isn't good enough.

The yanks can see promoted teams all doing ok, Forest, West Ham should pick up, maybe Wolves too.

Moyes doesn't seem bothered.
I don’t think the results have been good enough, but the fixtures have been 5 of the top 7 including Liverpool, city, Chelsea and spurs.

And yet we are still surrounded by teams like Newcastle, Fulham, Brentford, Villa and Brighton. A load of teams everyone seems to rave about and talk about their amazing recruitment.

I’m middle aged. I’m obese. I’m also not happy with that performance.

You're also a bit of a tit who has expected a resurgence from a team that has consistently battled against relegation for the last 4 years. Did you really expect us to turn in to world beaters because we spent less than the [Poor language removed] did on one player?

Needs binning asap. He’s totally losing the plot, what was that McNeil sub who has been terrible and wanted to go in the summer and just look at that performance tonight. May as well have kept Barry on, because again Beto stunk the gaff out. Rhol he brings on the last 2 games and by all accounts has been impressive in training and tonight brings Tim on. kDH was awful and he stays on for 80mins.

Moyes is in trouble imo.

This is Moyes being Moyes. Showing players he is the boss but at the same time limiting their growth. He done it with Ross Barkley, shipped him out on loan to Leeds and Sheff Wed, he came back and played the game of his life under the lights at the Emirates bossing the midfield and showing the world who he was. Three days later against Sunderland he wasn't to be seen.

Everyone said when Martinez came in that it was like a breath of fresh air. We are suppressing our young talent instead of letting them learn to play and grow together.

Whinge, whinge whinge whinge. A load of fat middle aged men, thinking they could do a better job from their armchairs. Newsflash boys: we've been [Poor language removed] for years, and are barely making a profit from player trading.

Yeah we have been crap for years, the problem is we continue to be so. And given the fact the manager was saying during the summer the club found it difficult to bring in players given the position we have been in , how do we ever get out of this circle of tedious monotony .

Another season of mid table existence isn’t going to help much change this and I don’t trust that recruitment team whatsoever.

Who?

Who has spoke about amazing recruitment for them teams?

Newcastle have been buzzed off all summer for spending insane money on Wissa and Elanga

Fulham, I don’t know what you mean

Brentford: Sold Toney, Wissa, Mbeumo in last 12 months: they were literally a relegation favourite this season

Villa: had their worst window in years, they have had to sell to buy and are reliant on Watkins as their only decent striker

BHA: Yes I agree they get good press for transfers but they still start Welbeck up top, you aren’t doing too much with him up there all season

I actually talked me lad out of going tonight.
Said you will lose half a day's pay and more than likely the same tomorrow.
And Xmas is around the corner
Dont bother
He will play the same team,
It's not working hasn’t for months,
Stay in and watch it on the tv.
Everton bore the crap out of me at the moment.
He rang me after the game and said you were right that's so predictable.

Err, no. We don't continue to be so. We're a much better team, under this manager than we were under the last one. And just for the record, I ws against sacking Dyche ;)

This is another big problem. We had turgid football under Dyche. We now have flair players like Grealish and Dibbling, plus Ndiaye and Rohl who looks like he wants to play on the front foot. Moyes has sucked any joy out of the match with his negative tactics and team selection. The only excitement comes from individual moments of skill like Ndiaye goal tonight that has nothing to do with Moyes management or tactics.
