He's been largely to blame for the last 3 results. How he couldn't see West Ham were targeting O'Brien was unbelievable. Nunez made Everton's best sub all night, taking Summerville off

When it was obviously not working, changes needed to be made. There aren't a ton of amazing options on the bench, but there were certainly solutions to some of the obvious problems and they were not used.

There are options on the bench. McNeil and Alcaraz have been shockingly underused given their performance last season. Questions got to be asked about why they’ve been banished

Very reminiscent of Silva ball. Dominate a game, only one outlet for creativity (Digne/Grealish) and struggle to create through any other means. KDH is not the answer at no. 10 unless we find another spark. There is no service. Good play. Nice on the eye. No cutting edge

Really poor result given what happened against Wolves. Whatever good start we'd made to the season has evaporated.

Big problems for him to address going forward with Beto and Barry offering nothing. Full backs being unable to join in with attacks is crippling Ndiaye and Grealish who are inevitably doubled up on. I never feel like we're likely score apart from through a set piece or Grealish setting someone up on the edge of the box.

Out of the cup to the bottom team, drawn at home to those in 16th and 19th. Went down with a whimper at newly promoted Leeds. Surrendered the derby in the first half.

We’ll always have “three wins in a week” but this has officially been a crap start to the season.

Didn’t see tonight’s game so can’t comment on his role in it or if it just a new manager bounce for West Ham.

But one reason I thought he was daft not going all out to win the cup game from the start was it invited unnecessary pressure for him to win this game if we got knocked out.
