2025/26 David Moyes

Yep that makes sense. Not sure when he's going to give Aznou any game time at this rate!
Would love to know Moyes' thinking on that one but the signs aren't great if he's seeing him day in, day out in training and he's not got a minute yet.

Apparently had an injury so maybe still recovering from that

I expect that and I am pretty sure that we will win the game.

Just the pressure will grow on Moyes, if the results in the next 2 games don't come granted we have 2 difficult games with Spurs and Man City after the international break.
100%. If we lose it’s 3 game losing streak & much worse than a shock defeat v West Ham. Created unnecessary pressure on the team and didn’t really rest the players he wanted to in the process

Not always. When Moyes first arrived I remember he was fuming over not winning away at Man U, I recall him saying "I came here to win". That ambition soon got whittled down by the chairman.
Nah, his attitude changed when reality hit that’s all. He started off saying he wanted to win but realised it wasn’t doing him any favours to keep saying that over and over again when we didn’t. I’ve always been a big fan of Moyes but he’s always been very good at bigging himself up and playing down expectations to make the job he’s doing seem better.

Also he's only ever been on the pitch in 15 top flight games (13 in Spain, 2 in Germany) so it's gonna be a big step up to go up against PL attackers. He's young and he cost us buttons so I guess it's ok to wait a while and build him up.

We'll absolutely spank Wham. All the pent up frustration will come out
“Spank me!”

To be clear I don’t think praising him for this

And giving him pelters for last night are incompatible.

I believe he is a better manager than many and therefore I expect more of him and he especially should know how much the fan base craves silverware.

Me not interested in getting silverware rather just get on with winning bleeding games that comes first.

We’ve played two more games than most of the teams on that table!
Think a more even one to demonstrate what he’s achieved would be on the first 22 games since his arrival.
